HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) attacks the body’s immune system, making the person susceptible to other infections and diseases. If untreated, it leads to AIDS which is the final stage. Clubbed with the stigma that goes with the disease, it destroys families completely. However, it is no longer a death sentence. With proper medical care and support, people living with HIV/AIDS can live longer and live healthily.

Jeevan Asha initiated Project HIV/AIDS Awareness and Care in 2014. Our aim is to reduce the number of people contracting the disease, early detection and to improve the quality of the life of people living with HIV/AIDS through proper medical treatment and care. We have hosted 35 Counseling and Testing camps with 2455 people tested so far.
