The issues of migrant workers and their families living in the slums often go unnoticed.

Migrants do not have access to proper housing and sanitation facilities, leading to a poor quality of life - their living and health conditions, wage structures, social security – are all below par.


Plagued with these circumstances, children drop out of school to lend a helping hand to supplement the household income. As adults, they are uneducated and unskilled, and have no hope of getting white collared jobs. This leads to them being sucked into the same cycle of poverty.
